In 2028, the musical world marks 200 years since Franz Schubert’s death. For its 25th anniversary season, the Poulenc Trio is planning a program that brings Schubert’s songs into conversation with the music of its namesake.
The program pairs new arrangements of Schubert Lieder with songs by Francis Poulenc, his Hommage à Schubert, and works from the Trio’s repertoire.
