		<description><![CDATA[The Poulenc Trio presented a special Hanukkah-inspired concert on Friday December 3, 7:30 PM at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore,  and Sunday December 5, 6:30 PM at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.

Highlighting the program was the world premiere of Yiddish Lexicon, by Jakov Jakoulov, a work that humorously explores certain Yiddish words that have made their way into our everyday lives. The program also featured the Hebrew Overture by Prokofiev, a jazzy-jaunty Trio by Andre Previn and a series of works by Jewish composers including a rarely-heard wind trio by Erwin Schulhoff, the poignant string trio by Gideon Klein, and a set of beautiful string quartet movements by composers who perished at Theresienstadt.]]></description>

We arrived on Aug 1 in the beautiful and historic city of Queretaro.  We last played here in the summer of 2008 at Queretaro&#8217;s very famous violin-making school and were looking forward to performing again.<br />
