Jewish Roots: The Poulenc Trio Celebrates Hanukkah with a World Premiere

The Poulenc Trio presented a special Hanukkah-inspired concert on December 3 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Walters Art Museum and  on December 5 2010 at 6:30 PM at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.

Highlighting the program was the world premiere of Yiddish Lexicon, by Jakov Jakoulov, a work that humorously explores certain Yiddish words that have made their way into our everyday lives.

Mexico Tour – Day 1 Queretaro

We arrived on Aug 1 in the beautiful and historic city of Queretaro.  We last played here in the summer of 2008 at Queretaro’s very famous violin-making school and were looking forward to performing again.
